Trading since the lunch table.

Ask anyone who went to grade school with Dub: he was the kid who traded half a bag of chips for a full one and somehow everybody walked away happy. That never really stopped.

Dub's Poke Emporium started in 2021 with a stack of sealed booster boxes bought when they were just boxes. A couple of years later they were worth several times that, and the obvious move was to sell them. The less obvious move was to set up a table at a card show and see what happened.

What happened was people. Collectors walking up with binders they had not opened in twenty years, kids with their first holo, parents trying to figure out what the fuss was about. Dub bought what he could use, traded toward what people actually wanted, and sold the rest. The table paid for itself the first weekend.

Today the focus is vintage — Wizards of the Coast era cards, the ones that got a generation into the hobby — plus the sealed product that started it all. Every card is checked by hand. Every offer comes with the comps behind it. And Dub still says “my wife” and “my kids” about as often as he says “holo,” because this is a family thing as much as a business.
